Spring is in the air and it seems that the entire parish of Pointe Coupee will be buzzing this weekend. Thousands of shoppers look forward to the experience of Market at the Mill with 170 vendors. Many other activities will be taking place.
This year, the Morganza Louisiana Cultural District is proud to be a part of the excitement. The first Morganza Market will take place on the grounds of the old schoolhouse at 752 La Hwy 3050 in Morganza on Saturday, April 9, 2022, 10 am until 2 pm. Vendors with a variety of goods have registered and latecomers are welcome.
The Krewe of Old River features "To Bear His Cross" at the churchyard at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 19031 LA Hwy 15, in Lettsworth on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 6:30 pm. This is a moving event, a wonderful way to end a weekend.
